How eco-friendly are plastic loop keyrings?
We have good news... All our ribbon is now made from recycled material. 100%. As you can appreciate, this is a big plus give that this is essentially a product made from plastic.
The ribbon is 100% recycled and the end cap is made from 70% recycled plastic.
All components are made in the UK, keeping the carbon footprint as low as possible.
Our manufacturers also use recycled cardboard boxes for despatching orders and our carrier uses recycled delivery bags. They also recycle all paper, cardboard and toners. At our offices in Leyland, we also recycle all plastics, glass, and tin, and we promote working from home for our staff wherever possible.
Any of our manufacturer’s waste that cannot be directly recycled is sent to an ‘energy from waste’ plant. All recyclable waste is transported to dedicated recycling facilities for re-use. Nothing has been sent to landfill by our factory in the last 10 years. That, I think we can all agree, is fantastic news!
As stated above, our products are fully manufactured in the UK (meaning reduced transport emissions) and they are available with shorter lead times, meaning you get your product sooner as well!
